Many thanks to the 100+ learning leaders who attended the 2013 Learning Leadership Summit last week. This year’s Summit featured human behaviorist, author, and speaker Nick Tasler and his topic Think Strategically & Act Decisively was a hit with the learning leaders in attendance. Developing the learning leader as a business professional is one of the goals of the Learning Leadership Summit and again this year I think we hit the mark.

We also awarded the second annual Fredrickson Communications Learning Leader of the Year Award. Our 2013 recipient was Julie Stone, Prudential’s Vice President of Learning for Group Insurance.

The Learning Leader of the Year Award is given to recognize a Minnesota learning and development professional who has made a significant positive impact on both their own organization, and on the Twin Cities learning community as a whole. Congratulations to our 2013 winner and thank you to all those who took the time to nominate other deserving learning leaders.
