Are events free to attend?

All of our peer group events and happy hours are free to attend.

I did not register or RSVP to attend! Can I still come to the event?

Yes, you’re welcome whether you registered to attend or not. If you didn’t RSVP/register, simply check in when you arrive and write your name and organization on a blank nametag.

Can I bring a friend or colleague to an event?

Absolutely. Feel free to bring a friend or colleague. They can register ahead of time, or they can simply attend with you.

I have never been to a Fredrickson Learning event in person before! What can I expect?

When you arrive, stop by the nametag table to get your nametag. Most of our events begin with food, drinks, and informal networking, so feel free to grab a plate and mingle. For L&D happy hours, the focus is on networking and conversation. For peer group events, many attendees chat before the presentation begins and then take a seat for the program.

What should I wear?

We do not have an event dress code. Most attendees opt for business casual attire.

Where should I park and when should I arrive?

Park as close as you can to the lobby doors located near the water tower at the South end of the building. There are two gravel parking lots just across the street, and street parking is free and plentiful. Sometimes the lots fill up, so give yourself five extra minutes to park and walk to the building.

I am a bit shy. How can I meet people?

We want everyone who attends one of our peer group events or L&D happy hours to feel comfortable and welcome. Anyone from Fredrickson Learning can be identified by an orange nametag lanyard, and we’re always happy to make introductions. You can also email communities@fredricksonlearning.com before the event, and we’ll help connect you with others when you arrive.

I have a dietary restriction or allergy. Can you accommodate that?

Yes. We offer vegan/vegetarian options and gluten free options at every event. If you have a different dietary restriction or food allergy, email communities@fredricksonlearning.com and we will do our best to provide food and drinks that meet your needs. If you require an allergen-free experience, please let us know in advance so we can help.

I have concerns about the accessibility of the event location. What can I expect?

At our office at 755 Prior Ave N, we have two accessible parking spots next to our main lobby entrance and more spots next to the doors for Blackstack Brewing and CanCan Wonderland. These spots are usually available for guests to use.

There is a wheelchair ramp in the main lobby entrance and an elevator to the third floor.

In our office, we have plentiful seating and lots of different types of chairs that can fit most needs. We can reserve a chair for you if you would like. Email communities@fredricksonlearning.com.

There is an ADA-accessible stall in each bathroom which includes a wider door, extra floor space, grab bars, and room for wheelchair side transfer to support safe and accessible use. Please note that bathrooms are not located immediately outside our office. It is a bit of a trip down the hallway.
